How to win more work on PPH

For some freelancers PPH is a main source of income for their business. This doesn’t matter whether they are a writer, website developer or amazing administrator.

With this amount of pressure, there is a good chance that you will want to maximise the amount of work that you win on PPH. But how do you do that?

Because we want our freelancers to make sure that they win the most work possible, we have put together some of the best ways that you can try to promote yourself and win yourself some more work through the PPH portal.

Get featured on our blog

Get featured on our blog and win more work on PPHAre you a bit of an expert in your industry? Think that you have something worthwhile to say? Why not share your own thoughts on our blog? We welcome guests posts from a variety of freelancers on the site, and if we like what you have to say, then we will feature it on our blog. Not only is this great exposure for you, but it also makes sure that prospective clients know that you are the person to come to.

Have a Freelancer Story Interview

Not only do we like to share blog posts that offer value, but we also like to share blog posts that share a story about the freelancers who have built their business using PPH. We call these our Freelancer Story Interviews (here’s a recent one) and they work to showcase how you have got to where you are and what your plans are for the future.

Feature your profile

If you want to make sure that your profile is visible, then PPH offer the opportunity for you to feature your profile for a set fee. Doing this increases your chances of securing new leads by as much as 3 times, which could be the boost to your business that you are really looking for.

You will feature on the top of the list of freelancers for your particular skill area, and you will have a featured banner too. You will also feature on the email newsletters that are sent out to the email list, meaning that you can draw more attention to what you offer that way.

Use social media

Use social media and win more work on PPHSocial media is incredibly useful to boost a range of businesses, and if you are a freelancer on PPH, then why not use our social media to help raise your profile. All you need to do is share a link on our Facebook, Twitter, Google + or any other social media profile, and you will soon see some more interest in what you have to offer!

Be an hourlie of the day

The hourlie has become a great way to offer quick to buy snippets of your time for a particular task. Here at PPH we have an opportunity for you to target your focus on one particular hourlie, rather than across your profile. For a set fee you will be placed at the top of the search listings, using a special ribbon, these particular featured ads are known to get as many as 10 times more clicks. You will also be featured in the hourlies of the day newsletter which will be sent out to the entire mailing list. If that wasn’t enough, you will also be able to gain access to a number of different images (19 million in fact) which will give you a chance to create a professional and appealing hourlie.

So, there you have it, all the different ways that PPH can help you to be more visible and to gain more work. Now all you need to do is start making sure that you have time to complete all that lovely work that you are going to win.

Let PPH help build your reputation and skills. They screen jobs and take care of freelancers to make sure they get paid for the work they do. Come and learn about the process and see how easy it is to get started. The more you work, the better your rating and reputation. Let PPH get you there. I have gotten some great assignments and project reviews and learned a lot about myself and what works best for me and you will too.

PPH – Please answer the following questions:

    1) The blog entry option, I have an idea for a good post relevant for buyers. How many words such a post contains? To which email address should it be sent?

    2) About using social media – “All you need to do is share a link on our Facebook, Twitter, Google + or any other social media profile” – What does it mean? Should we post links to our PPH profile or PPH Hourlies? If Facebook for instance, where to share it? Just paste the links on your wall? Please elaborate further on this point. It isn’t clear.

I manually vector (redraw) to convert your raster files from (.bmp/.jpg/.gif/.png/ or etc) to vector illustrator files (.ai/.eps/ or etc) which are high quality line art and ready to be printed.

Not only a good tips for newbie like me – it would help to get my job here. By all considerations my opinion is PPH may come a great way of my freelancing life. Still waiting to win my first job.

  • khalil

Nice tips that help me lot. I am still waiting to win first job at PPH.

  • Irina Sztukowski

    Thank you for great hints.

I will definitely follow your advice. Being a new person in a large pool of artists I think my particular skills as watercolor artist are quite narrow. Each time I search for job offers it seems I see only three that apply to my field. I still think it is a good thing as not many artists can paint in watercolor as I can. And I am surely glad that PPH allows to upload some of previous projects that give our potential clients opportunity to see the quality of the job that I provide.

I am very excited to have a long and productive relationship with PPH.

    Many thanks!

You covered several areas about how anyone can promote their profile, and it is written in such a simple yet informative way. So thank you, it was an extremely beneficial read for a newbie. I am already looking into how to get featured on the blog, but unfortunately, I keep getting distracted by the blog posts that have already been written.
