Need to create a piece of content that the readers will share like mad? In fact, it is not as complex as it seems. Just follow these simple tips and you’ll reach a greater public.
- First of all remember that blogging is not complicated. Actually, you need only two things to write a good blog post. They are: a computer/laptop and an Internet connection. If you have these two things, you are ready to go.
- The next item to consider is choosing the topic of your article. We advise you to consider common questions, breaking news and current events, pain points, desires, personal experience, etc.
- Another thing you should keep in mind is who you are writing for and be aware of your audience and their motivations for reading.
- Then you need to create a draft of your future headline, which you will finalize at the end. Keep the headline, as well as all sub-headings, short and snappy.
- Start every blog post with a short introduction of 100 – 150 words. Develop the problem under investigation and state the purpose of the investigation.

- Choose 2 to 3 colours and the same number of fonts for your brand. As soon as they become a part of your identity, your customers will easily recognize your business through them.
- It is not recommended to change the order, size, buttons usability, links, forms, and other website elements.
- Work out a coherent brand voice even if several authors are writing for your blog. Every article on your blog must have the same use of dashes / em-dashes / visuals / abbreviations / spellings as well as the general expression and intonation.
- Follow general Internet practices. We mean the cognitive schema – associations of tasks (specific user expectations based on their previous experiences with websites), grounded in their categories.

- Build trust in your visitors by leveraging social proof. We need assurance and security before performing a new activity. We are following the herd and mirroring their actions, assuming that they have superior knowledge about the activity. This is called social proof phenomenon.
- Show off your endorsements from influencers. Place an emphasis on how many people have already shared/read your article. This instills trust and gives the viewers a motive to take action.
- Including testimonials about the content of your blog and products from figures who are considered authoritative in your niche is a good move. Personalize your words, add images as they increase trust.
- Show off the logos of well-known brands that use your product. Dear bloggers & writers, feature the logos of esteemed media houses that have mentioned you in an article. Same thing works with experts. Tell future influencers that their peers have already contributed. This eliminates an influencer’s fear of wasting time.
- Limit the number of choices on your blog. More choices overwhelm a prospect and demotivate them from taking action. This is a paradox of choice phenomenon.
- Eliminate clutter from your website and leave essential elements only.
- Limit the social sharing buttons on your blog to 2 or 3 highest-converting networks.
- Eliminate any unnecessary steps. Don’t ask for too much information. Don’t offer too many options to enter your sales funnel.
- Simplify your navigation and the information you toss in your sidebars. Choose the top 5 categories and stick with them for increasing engagement.
- Quality content is essential, but so is more exposure. You start finding a person more likable and pleasing when you see them more often. This is called the exposure effect theory.
- Develop positive feelings from customers.
- Start appearing in front of them more often.
- Publish content more frequently. You’ll get more opportunities to promote your content and also gain traffic from more long-tail keywords.
- If you are undertaking paid marketing: invest in remarketing at least on social media for promoting your content. Don’t be afraid of testing higher frequency caps. Facebook remarketing ads get 3x the level of engagement as regular ads.
